Evening everyone! I have finally decided to start delving into the realms of Japanese beauty products. A few months ago, I made a post about some charcoal based products that were just awesome. As time passed, I had been thinking more about how much trouble I sometimes have when browsing drugstores. So I thought I would start making some posts about things I have tried (hair, make up, and face) and hope that it might make help others out who are living here and clueless when they walk into their local Matsumoto-Kiyoshi.
Kiwi Face Pack: ヨーグルト液配合パック (Yogurt Eki-haigou Pack). **
I don't actually go to Daiso looking for face products, but I found this while browsing the Daiso aisles for ¥105. I was looking for something that had some moisture kick to it and some anti-zit power. Now that the heat and humidity has started kicking in, my poor forehead has broken out into some heat bumps. Boo T_T Yogurt has some natural anti-bacterial properties to it (information found via Google) and kiwi is chock full of stuff that's good for the skin (Vitamin C, etc. again check Google). I did a quick search on my phone to see if there were any reviews about this product and couldn't find much, but other similar products popped up saying both things are awesome.
The directions are actually bilingual on the package. You basically apply this after cleaning your face. I put on enough to make a nice film on my skin, while rubbing it in circular motions. AVOID THE EYES AND MOUTH. I learned the hard way last time with the Daiso Charcoal Face Mask. So whatever the Daiso directions say, I follow to a 't'. Since this is not sticky or drying, I doubt it would do serious damage, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Once your satisfied with the coverage, you are to leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse with warm water.
As of now, I've used it twice. My face feels much softer than it did two days ago that's for sure! And the bumps seem to be clearing up a bit. You would think that with more humidity you wouldn't need to moisturize, but you really should. I think overall this is good for a moisturizer, not sure yet how effective it is though. Although one particularly nasty zit has gone down to almost being gone since I started using this. Might add an update in about a week :D
** DISCLAIMER: If you are allergic to yogurt or kiwi DON'T USE THIS!!!! These are just my thoughts on the product. Please double check labels before trying any product if you have allergies.
